A Nursing Home‘s main role is to provide nursing care. Roistered nursing homes are expected to provide adequate nursing cover 24 hours a day.

A residential home is designed to provide personal care such as assistance with washing, dressing, eating and in fact generally all the normal daily living tasks that disabled or frail elderly people find difficult
