Terminology
  • "Under Offer"

indicates that an offer has been agreed  and it is not therefore generally worth going to look at the property or worth pursuing interest. On some but rare occasions a Sale can fall through before the contract is finalised and the Sellers may then be able to entertain other interest.  If in doubt we can check out the position for you.

  • "Missives"

is the name given to the Contract of Sale/Purchase.

  • "Disposition"

is the name given to the deed transferring title

  • "Standard Security"

is the name of the mortgage document creating an interest in favour of the Lender over the land.

  • "Closing Date"

is the last time for lodging offers.
